A Celebration of Compassion, Community, and Conscious Living

The Brisbane Vegan Expo 2025 is set to return for another powerful weekend of vegan inspiration, ethical shopping, and community connection. Held on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August at the Exhibition Building, Brisbane Showgrounds in Bowen Hills (indoor event), this two-day event is a must for anyone passionate about animals, the planet, and vibrant vegan living.

Whether you're a longtime vegan, just starting out, or vegan-curious, this expo welcomes everyone with open arms and open hearts. It’s not just about food—it’s about values, vision, and living in alignment with compassion.

Food That Aligns with Your Ethics (and Tastes Incredible)

Prepare to be amazed by the variety of 100% vegan food on offer. From delicious burgers (looking at you Grassfed!) to melt-in-your-mouth cupcakes (Pippa we love you!) and everything in between, the Expo is a plant-based foodie’s dream come true. And…there’s also treats for dogs served up by Alfie’s kitchen. So good! You can also enjoy a cooking demo by the one-and-only Simon Toohey, the host of Channel 10 show Freshly Picked and a Masterchef Alumni.

Every bite you take supports a world without animal exploitation—what’s not to love?

Learn, Grow, and Be Inspired

The Brisbane Vegan Expo isn’t just about indulgence—it’s also a place of education and empowerment. Across the weekend, visitors can attend engaging talks and cooking demonstrations by thought leaders in the vegan space.

Mackenzie from Total Ethics will be giving a talk on how vegan brands can grow online. Build your reach, follower count and make an impact utilising Mackenzie’s top social media tips and strategies.

And for the kids and kids-at-heart, Renata Jayne, a K-Grade 2 educational incursions performer and children’s book author, will be performing at the Expo this year!

There will also be a session where you have the chance to go deeper into what it means to live vegan—and how to make the shift in ways that are joyful and sustainable. Brad King the founder of Farm Animal Rescue will be part of the guest speaker panel. This panel is set to inspire your vegan life!
