Australian Vegans acknowledges and honours the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, whose care for Country and all its inhabitants echoes through time. We stand in solidarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their ongoing pursuit of justice.

We honour their profound respect for life, a respect that calls us to imagine a world where kindness is at the heart of everything we do.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. We aspire to walk softly and live compassionately, hand in hand with the wisdom that has long nourished these lands.
